We're looking for an experienced Principal Project Manager to deliver impactful outcomes across a diverse portfolio of complex work. This is an exciting role where you'll influence strategic delivery, build strong stakeholder relationships and help drive success across key programmes.
As a senior member of the team, you'll help shape project delivery, support the development of colleagues and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
What you'll be doing
As a Principal Project Manager, you'll provide leadership and direction across a diverse portfolio of complex projects and programmes, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through to completion.
Working closely with customers and internal teams, you'll help shape delivery strategies, manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure outcomes are achieved in a dynamic and evolving environment.
You'll also play a key role in mentoring colleagues, sharing expertise and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
Location
This role is based at our St Neots office, providing the opportunity to work closely with a highly skilled and collaborative team supporting some of the UK's most important defence and security programmes.

We're expecting that you've done this role before, so you'll know how to successfully deliver complex projects whilst balancing multiple priorities, stakeholders and commercial objectives.
Essential experience
- Project Management Practitioner qualification
- Extensive experience in a Project Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong financial and commercial awareness
Desirable experience
- Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) certification or equivalent
- Membership of a relevant professional or chartered body
- Experience within the Defence sector or a similarly regulated technical environment
- Experience supporting business strategy and growth activities
- Experience leading or working within programme-level delivery environments
It would be great if you also have experience working within secure, customer-facing environments and are comfortable managing multiple priorities across a diverse project portfolio.

- Eligible to obtain and maintain UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance, with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) clearance if required
